Satu Data Indonesia (SDI) is a government data governance initiative aimed at producing accurate, integrated, and easily accessible data. Statistics Indonesia (BPS) plays a key role in the implementation of SDI by serving as the main data producer and providing technical support in guiding sectoral statistics. To achieve optimal results in the Evaluation of Sectoral Statistics Implementation (EPSS), BPS held a socialization and internalization event on May 22, 2025. This event was attended by several agencies, including the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Development Agency (Bapelitbangda) of Manggarai Regency, the Department of Communication and Informatics (Diskominfo) of Manggarai Regency, the Department of Tourism and Culture of Manggarai Regency, the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports (PPO) of Manggarai Regency, and the Department of Population Control and Family Planning of Manggarai Regency.
The Focus Group Discussion (FGD) between BPS and the organizers of sectoral statistics serves as a platform for audience engagement, socialization, and internalization of sectoral statistical implementation, packaged under the FGD on Sectoral Statistics Implementation within the EPSS activities. Additionally, this FGD included discussions on one of the business processes in the implementation of sectoral statistics that aligns with statistical principles and metadata compilation.
It is hoped that this meeting, held as part of Sectoral Statistics Development and conducted through the FGD format, can serve as an effective medium for statistical promotion, audience engagement, socialization, and internalization among government agencies, in line with BPS’s role as the coordinator of sectoral statistics.
