The Manggarai Regency BPS is conducting training for enumerators of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) for the first quarter of 2025. The 2025 Susenas training was held online for 3 days and offline for 1 day, from January 14-17, 2025, while the Susenas - Seruti first-quarter 2025 training was held online for 3 days and offline for 2 days, from January 20-24, 2025.
The Susenas data is one of the important sources of socio-economic data for national development program planning and evaluation, sectoral program planning and evaluation (Ministries/Agencies), as well as providing indicators for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), and Astacita. This year’s Susenas includes developments aimed at refining the instrument design to improve data quality, reduce the respondent burden to maintain the response rate, and adapt to the evolving development indicators.
The Susenas – Seruti first-quarter 2025 series begins with updating data from 64 selected BS (sampling blocks) from February 1-6, 2025, followed by Household Sample Enumeration from February 8-27, 2025. Mr. Yosef Danu urges enumerators to carry out the enumeration properly and be able to gather detailed information for each variable asked to produce high-quality data for more accurate development planning.
