The observation of Rice and Secondary Crop Productivity for 2025 has already begun

The year 2025 has just begun, but the observers of the Rice and Secondary Crops Plot Observation (Ubinan Padi dan Palawija) of the Manggarai Regency BPS have already started conducting observations of rice and secondary crops in the Subround I Survey of Ubinan of 2025. Ubinan is a survey conducted yearly to observe the productivity of rice and secondary crops in Manggarai Regency. The Ubinan observers will examine harvest results in selected plots spread across Manggarai Regency. The harvest observations are made using an Ubinan tool, which is a 2.5 x 2.5-meter iron frame placed on the selected plots.

Ubinan data collection throughout the year is divided into three subrounds: subround one for harvest observation from January to April, subround two for harvest observation from May to August, and subround three for harvest observation from September to December. The subround sample for Manggarai Regency consists of 46 rice plots, 53 corn plots, 10 peanut plots, 23 cassava plots, and 19 sweet potato plots. The implementation of the 2025 Rice and Secondary Crops Ubinan is expected to produce accurate and precise Rice Production Figures and contribute to achieving food self-sufficiency.
