Training for Enumerator of Quarterly Micro Small Industry Survey (IMK)

BPS Statistic Manggarai Regency has conducted a quarterly survey to gather data on micro and small industries, specifically industries with fewer than 20 workers. To ensure the competency of field officers in carrying out this survey, BPS Manggarai organized a one-day training session aimed at providing material on concepts, definitions, and methodologies for data collection to the officers, equipping them with the necessary skills for conducting the Quarterly Micro Small Industry Survey (IMK).
The IMK Quarterly Training was held on October 7 at the BPS office in Manggarai, with seven participants consisting of two Field Inspectors (PML), three Field Enumerators (PPL), and two Regional Instructors responsible for delivering the material directly to the officers. The two instructors had completed training conducted by BPS NTT Province online and were declared qualified and ready to serve as Regional Instructors.
The training lasted for eight hours. In addition to receiving material from the Regional Instructors, the enumerators were also tested with exams before and after the training to assess the impact of the training provided. The Head of BPS Statistics Manggarai Regency, Yosef Danu, hopes that this training will enable BPS to maintain the quality of data produced through competent enumerators who are prepared to conduct enumeration and field inspections.
