Training for Enumerator of Susenas Social, Cultural, and Educational Modules (MSBP) 2024

Manggarai Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS Manggarai Regency) held Training for Susenas Enumerator (National Socio-Economic Survey) Socio-Cultural and Educational Module (MSBP) 2024 and Seruti (Quarterly Household Economic Survey) on 2-3 September 2024. Those were different from the previous March Susenas Training which was carried out in hybrid (online and offline), the Susenas MSBP and Seruti training for the third quarter of 2024 was carried out in a direct class for 3 days and was attended by 24 participants.

The training was officially opened by the Head of BPS Manggarai Regency, Yosef Danu, S.Si directly at the Sky Flores Hotel, Ruteng. On this occasion, the Head of BPS Manggarai Regency, Mr. Yosef Danu, accompanied by the Social Function Coordinator of BPS Manggarai Regency, Mr. Leksius Jeda, conveyed to all enumerators the importance of Susenas’ data. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) has again collected data from the 2024 National Socio-Economic Survey, Socio-Cultural and Educational Module (Susenas MSBP). The Susenas MSBP was first implemented in 1994. The 2024 Susenas MSBP data collection is a portrait of the dynamic life of Indonesian society which is cultured and has high complexity.

As mother of surveys, this survey supports 2 (two) of the 7 (seven) priority development agendas for the 2020-2024 RPJMN, namely increasing quality and competitive human resources as well as mental revolution and cultural development. Indicators resulting from this survey include Social Welfare Indicators, Cultural Indicators, and Education Support Indicators. Mr. Yosef Danu appealed to enumerators to carry out the survey well and to be able to dig up detailed information for each variable asked to produce quality data for more accurate development planning. Susenas MSBP and Seruti TW III Data Collection activities will start with updating the household of 14 selected BS on 11-15 September 2024.
